How is the Website Organized?

For Parents Children are at highest risk for injury on amusement rides. According to accident reports from state safety agencies, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-aged children account for half of amusement ride-related injuries and three quarters of falls and ejections from moving rides. Learn how to help your own children enjoy safe thrills at amusement parks and carnivals.
For Kids The Saferparks Kids Club offers kids a fun way to learn about ride safety through online activities. Click the button to the left to visit the cartoon world where SaferKids Rule.
Safety This section has a variety of information and features to help you understand more about the safety issues related to amusement rides, tips for staying safe when you visit theme parks and fairgrounds, and government oversight of thrill rides.
Database Accidents happen everywhere, even at your favorite amusement parks.  Injury data is an important source of safety information. Find out which parks and carnivals are accountable to the public, which aren't, and how consumers can access safety records on thrill rides.
