Including size, shape, strength, health, and abilities.

  • Thrill rides are, by their very nature, physically demanding.   If you lack the strength to hold on and keep your body in place, you may risk injury on some rides.
  • Small and large patrons are at higher risk for ejection on some rides.  Make sure the restraint system fits closely against children and small adults.  If you're very tall or significantly overweight, check with the operator before boarding.

  • Older patrons should avoid intense or jerky rides.

  • Timid riders may panic on wild rides.  Never tease or bully anybody -- especially kids -- into boarding a ride.
  • Risk-takers may be tempted to horseplay on slow "boring" rides.
